Sort Mania Privacy Policy

This policy applies to the Sort Mania Android app.

It covers information handled by the app, its advertising and consent SDKs, Google Play purchase services, Android backup, notifications, and user-initiated sharing. Third-party services operate under their own privacy policies.

Gameplay data stays primarily on your device.

We do not ask for your name, precise location, contacts, photos, microphone recordings, or camera content through normal Sort Mania gameplay.

Android stores and may back up app progress.

Sort Mania stores game progress and preferences in private app storage. The current app configuration allows selected progress and preference files to participate in Android cloud backup and device-to-device transfer. Depending on your device and Google backup settings, Google may store a backup associated with your device or Google account and restore it on a compatible device. Google protects backups with Google Account credentials; end-to-end encryption based on a device screen lock is available only on supported Android versions and configurations.

You can manage Android backup through device settings. Clearing Sort Mania's storage or uninstalling it removes the local copy, but an Android backup may remain under Google's retention rules and could later be restored. Resetting progress inside the app changes the relevant local game records but does not control copies already held by independent service providers.

Sort Mania uses Google Mobile Ads and Google's consent platform.

The app displays interstitial ads and optional rewarded ads. Rewarded ads grant in-game coins only after the advertising SDK reports that the reward condition was completed. Google Mobile Ads automatically collects and shares IP address, user product interactions, diagnostic information, and device or account identifiers for advertising, analytics, and fraud-prevention purposes. Google and participating ad technology providers may use this information to deliver, measure, limit, secure, and—where permitted by your consent—personalize ads.

In regions where required, Google's User Messaging Platform may show a consent message before ads are requested. If the app shows Privacy choices in Settings, you can use it to review or change available advertising choices. You may also manage or reset your Android advertising identifier and ad-personalization settings through Google or device settings.

Withdrawing consent does not necessarily remove all advertising or stop processing needed for non-personalized ads, fraud prevention, security, frequency capping, or legal compliance. Learn more through Google's Privacy Policy and how Google uses information from apps that use its services.

Optional coin-pack payments are processed by Google Play.

When in-app purchases are available and you choose to buy a coin pack, Google Play processes the payment under your Google account. VritraSec does not receive your full card number or bank-account credentials. The app and any purchase-verification service we operate may receive and process transaction data such as product ID, purchase token, order state, price/currency, and fulfillment status.

We use this information to verify purchases, prevent duplicate or fraudulent fulfillment, grant the correct coins, consume eligible coin-pack purchases so they can be bought again, provide support, keep transaction records, and comply with financial or legal obligations. Google controls payment-method information and retains purchase records under the Google Payments Privacy Notice.

Virtual coins and boosters have no cash value outside the game. Purchase availability, refunds, and payment disputes may also be governed by Google Play's rules and applicable law.

Permissions support reminders, ads, purchases, and sharing.

• Notifications: optional permission used for the daily challenge reminder. You can deny or disable it in Android settings.
• Receive boot completed: lets the app restore an enabled local daily reminder after the device restarts.
• Internet and network state: used by advertising, consent, purchase, and linked web services.
• Billing: used to connect to Google Play for optional in-app purchases.

Sharing

When you choose to share the app or a game result, Sort Mania creates plain text and opens Android's share sheet. Nothing is sent until you choose a destination app. The selected app then handles the shared content under its own policy.

Privacy-policy website

Opening this page sends ordinary web-request information, such as IP address, browser/device details, requested URL, and time of request, to the website host and content providers needed to serve the page, including the externally hosted fonts and images used by this site.

Information is used to operate and protect the game.

• Save gameplay, settings, balances, inventory, and cosmetic selections.
• Deliver daily reminders and user-requested sharing.
• Request and record advertising consent choices.
• Load, display, measure, and secure interstitial and rewarded ads.
• Process, verify, fulfill, troubleshoot, and prevent abuse of purchases.
• Diagnose failures, maintain security, respond to support requests, and comply with law.

Where applicable, processing may rely on performance of a contract (delivering the game or a purchase), consent (certain personalized advertising), legitimate interests (security, fraud prevention, and service improvement), and compliance with legal obligations.

We do not sell your gameplay progress.

We may disclose or allow processing of limited information by:

• Google Play: app distribution, licensing, billing, purchase verification, refunds, and fraud prevention.
• Google Mobile Ads, User Messaging Platform, and advertising partners: consent, ad delivery, personalization where allowed, measurement, fraud prevention, and diagnostics.
• Android/Google backup services: protected app-data backup and device transfer when enabled by you and supported by your device; the available encryption level depends on Android version, screen-lock, and backup configuration.
• Hosting and infrastructure providers: delivery and security of this privacy website and any future secure purchase-verification endpoint.
• Authorities or professional advisers: when reasonably necessary to comply with law, protect rights and safety, investigate fraud, or manage a business transaction.
• Apps you select: content you intentionally send using Android's share sheet.

We do not disclose local level progress or settings to advertising providers for ad targeting. Some privacy laws may define personalized advertising disclosures as “sharing” or a “sale” even when no money is exchanged. Where required, available consent and privacy controls can be used to opt out.

Retention depends on where the information is held.

• Local game data: remains until changed in the app, reset, cleared through Android settings, overwritten by restore, or removed by uninstalling.
• Android backups: are controlled through Android/Google backup settings and retained under Google's rules.
• Purchase records: may be retained as needed for fulfillment, duplicate prevention, refunds, accounting, tax, fraud prevention, support, and legal requirements.
• Advertising and consent data: is retained by Google and participating providers according to their policies and legal obligations.
• Privacy-site request logs: may be retained by the website host for a limited period needed to deliver and secure the site, diagnose errors, prevent abuse, and meet legal obligations.
• Support correspondence: may be retained while needed to resolve the request and for reasonable legal, security, or recordkeeping purposes.

Because the current app has no VritraSec account or gameplay server, we generally cannot identify or remotely delete game progress stored only on your device. You can remove it using the app's reset option, Android's Clear storage control, or uninstall. For server-side purchase or support records linked to you, contact us with enough information to locate the record; we may need to verify your request.

You can control optional permissions and request privacy assistance.

• Decline or disable notification permission and turn off the daily reminder.
• Review available advertising consent choices from Sort Mania Settings when shown.
• Manage ad personalization, advertising ID, Google Play, and Android backup through Google or device settings.
• Avoid rewarded ads or optional purchases and continue using core gameplay.
• Choose whether and where to share generated result text.
• Reset local game progress, clear app storage, or uninstall Sort Mania.

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, restrict, object to, or obtain a copy of personal information; withdraw consent; opt out of certain targeted advertising or sharing; or appeal a denied request. You may also complain to your local data-protection authority. These rights may be subject to legal exceptions.

Sort Mania is not directed to children under 13.

We do not knowingly collect personal information directly from children under 13 through a VritraSec account because the app has no such account. Advertising and store services may process limited device or transaction information as described above. Parents or guardians who believe a child provided personal information to us may contact us so we can investigate and take appropriate action.

Age thresholds and parental-consent rules vary by country. Distribution settings, ad treatment, and consent configuration should be used consistently with the age group selected for Sort Mania in Google Play Console.

We use reasonable safeguards, but no system is risk-free.

Sort Mania relies on Android private app storage, Google Play purchase protections, access controls, and reasonable technical and organizational measures appropriate to the information handled. Google states that data automatically collected by the Google Mobile Ads SDK is encrypted in transit using Transport Layer Security (TLS). Purchase and website connections are intended to use HTTPS. No device, transmission, storage system, or security measure can guarantee absolute security.

Google, advertising providers, hosting services, and other processors may handle information in countries other than yours. Where required, providers and VritraSec use recognized safeguards for international transfers, subject to applicable law and each provider's terms.

We will update this policy when relevant features change.

We may revise this policy to reflect changes to Sort Mania, providers, purchases, advertising, legal requirements, or data practices. The effective date at the top identifies the current version. Material changes may also be communicated in the app or store listing where appropriate.
